On our way back from Ibiza we made a stop in Barcelona as there were no direct flights to LT and we couldn't have picked a better destination. I loved it there, the architecture, Gaudi's magnificent works took my breath away. On a side note Google informed me it was his 161st birthday yesterday so it was a rather timely visit I'd say. Also, I'm not much for shopping holidays, but if I ever take one, I'm definitely coming here ( yeah right, after I get a job...) so many nice places to shop, they even recommend doing just that on their 3-day stay itinerary.

The atmosphere was great and we spent the whole day running around the city trying to see as much as possible (we also didn't want to go back to our hostel with awful beds because of which I barely slept that night). Still so much left to see, I'm sure I will come back one day :)
