Family holiday in... Ibiza?!

Yes, yes the destination my mum and aunt chose for our family holiday was in fact Ibiza and not because they're such party animals, but because that was one of the few places that happened to be free for booking at the time we wanted to go. But anyway, even though it wasn't your typical Ibiza holiday I still enjoyed it quite a lot. Going for a morning swim in the pool and sunbathing on the beach, trying out water sports and walking around the islands coast... Was nice to get away from all my New Zealand planing and just relax for a bit.

On my stay however, I feel like I have become quite an expert in all things Ibiza and if I ever come back there with a group of friends (lets face it, clubbing with just my brother was not the ideal situation for going out while there this time) I will be ready as I already know most of what there is to know about Ibiza's night life. For example, St. Antonio is the place most large clubs are based, others are scattered all around the island, but this place is around 70% British people (really felt like I was back in Birmingham on Broad street at one point). There are many bars with drink deals and little clubs you can go to before you head of to a big club for which you need to buy tickets (prices range from 30-70 Euros and drink prices start at 10 euros so... better plan ahead where to go unless you're made of money). There is however a Lidl shop close to the bus station where you can get a bottle of wine for 1 euro so let the good times roll :P Night buses run all night so you don't have to worry about taxis unless you are staying in the middle of nowhere... Maybe I will come back on day to party the night away :P
